J and S Jacks got started in the summer of 1995 when two brothers Jim and Steve (J & S) got sick and tired of kneeling and crawling next to our bikes to clean and maintain them. So we decided to make a motorcycle lift.

The first motorcycle lift turned out to be a 150 lb. behemoth that worked relatively well but the stability wasn't there. The bike needed to be strapped down.
This wasn't good enough for 2 relatively inventive guys.

So we started over and finally came up with a motorcycle lift that we could raise our Harley Davidson's off the kick stand without ever touching the bike. Even better, we had such good stability that we could raise the motorcycle to the full 18 inch height and climb up and put our full weight on the handle bars with legs hanging along the front forks. We can also sit on the back seat and literally bounce around on the seat while the bike is on the motorcycle lift, without any straps or hold downs of any kind. The bike remains rock solid on the lift.

So after months of trial and error this is the
motorcycle lift we decided to market and offer to you.

We both have over 30 years riding, maintaining, cleaning and storing our motorcycles and knew what we were looking for in a motorcycle lift.
So we built it.
